This week’s second film in our 2019 Director Battle Month takes us on a fantastical adventure through the Republic of Zubrowka. We take some time out to marvel at the artistic genius of Wes Anderson before digging into the themes of the film that stem from the wonderful relationship between its two protagonists. Like the film itself, we hope this episode will largely make you smile, as our conversation did for us.
For this week’s FF+ we review the movie adaptation of a popular Nickelodeon children’s show, a documentary about WW I British bombers, and the newest DC animated universe film. We also discuss four recently released trailers for upcoming films that we’re excited about.

This week we are a little faster than usual, and a lot more furious as we discuss the first spin-off in our beloved Fast and Furious franchise. Truth be told this is one of the least positive episodes of our show, as this film we were so very looking forward to just did not work for us, but we keep that positive honesty and talk about the things we did like, as well.
For the first film of this August’s Director Battle Month, our listeners chose a Hitchcock classic for us to discuss. We chat about some of the history surrounding the making of this thriller and try to figure out why we have so much empathy for the “bad guys”.
Once upon a time on Feelin’ Film, we gathered to discuss a new Quentin Tarantino film that shocked us not with its violence and exploitative nature, but with its sentimentality and unique marriage of fictional story with alternate history.
It’s a non-traditional episode this week for us as we forego a film discussion in favor of sharing our reactions to movie and television trailers as well as news that came out of last week’s 2019 San Diego Comic-Con International. Learn about what’s coming and what will be worth our time and why.
In this special episode of FF+ we reveal our 64-film bracket for 2019 Director Battle Month. Voting will take place in late July through August in our Feelin’ Film Facebook Group and the winners of four quadrants will be the four movies we cover in August. We also make our picks for who we think will win and let you know what directors and movies we are rooting for the most.
