We kick off the scariest month of the year by discussing Mel Brooks’ classic horror comedy, Young Frankenstein. Comedy like this seems to be a lost art and evokes a special kind of audience response that is built more on paying attention than shock value. With incredible acting, an atmospheric black & white setting, and wonderfully moody music, this is truly one of the greatest the genre has ever seen.
