We celebrate Mother’s Day with one of the best coming-of-age films of the decade. It is a joy to talk through the relationships in Lady Bird’s life and the beautiful love letter to Sacramento that first-time Director Greta Gerwig brings to the screen.

Some movies take an emotional toll, and this adaptation of John Green’s beloved best-selling YA novel is definitely one that fits the description. Teens, romance, and disease has become a sort of weird genre, but is there value in it? We definitely think so and have a wonderful, heartfelt conversation about what The Fault in Our Stars means to us, and why we think it can be an impactful story for others as well.
